Without consent: reach measurement

We measure reach on this website with Umami, a privacy-focused open-source analytics tool we host ourselves. Umami sets no cookies and does not access information stored on your device within the meaning of § 25(1) TDDDG. No consent is therefore required. With consent: session replay (OpenReplay)

If you consent, we record your usage of this website in pseudonymised form to identify UX issues. The following entries are stored in your browser:

  • __openreplay_token (sessionStorage) — session token, discarded when you close the tab.
  • __openreplay_pageno (sessionStorage) — counter of pages visited within a session.
  • __openreplay_tabid (sessionStorage) — internal tab identifier for the current session.
  • __openreplay_uuid (localStorage) — persistent identifier to recognise the same browser.

Servers and storage run on our own infrastructure at replay.balane.tech in Germany. Retention: 30 days on a rolling basis. No third-country transfer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG (consent). More in our privacy policy.

Storage of this consent choice

We store your decision in your browser under the localStorage key calmloop:consent:v1. This entry is technically necessary so we don't show you the banner on every visit, and falls under § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary for a service you explicitly requested).

Language detection

Your language is detected from your browser setting (the Accept-Language header). No cookie is needed.

Hosting

The website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes technically necessary information (e.g. your IP address to deliver the content, logs for error analysis). Details in our privacy policy.

And in the Calmloop app?

The mobile app works offline on your device. There are no tracking SDKs, no advertising IDs and no analytics cookies — not even OpenReplay.
